CVCA conducted the annual China Venture Capital and Private Equity Management Course 2014 in Beijing on August 27 and 28. Almost 60 CVCA members and professionals from non-member companies attended the four-module training.

CVCA invited Chairman of North Asia Warburg Pincus Chang Sun, Vice-Chairman of China Funds Siguler Guff Yuebing Lu, Partner of Shearman & Sterling Lorna Chen, Partner of E&Y Joyce Dai, Managing Director of Duff & Phelps Sammy Lai, Managing Partner of Legend Capital Jianqing Wang, Partner of Shanghai Qin Li Law Firm Nora Fu, Partner of PwC Rock Liu, Senior Partner of Chen & Co. Law Firm Arthur Chen, and Managing Director/co-head of North Asia JP Morgan Lian Lian as the speakers of the course. Speakers shared their extensive practical experience with numerous first-hand cases on fund formation and operation, fundraising process, deal selection and due diligence, financial forecasting and valuation, typical term sheet and analysis, legal documents, enterprise integration and value-added services, exit methods, domestic market listing and overseas IPO, etc, with the attendees.

Presentations and speeches are followed by the highly interactive Q & A session. Attendees provided lots of positive feedback on the training and speakers.
